    Salam Alaykum,

I saw the answer and I went through the document also, and it seems to give the 'normative Sunni' view about the compilation of Ahaadeeth; however, the Academy this Shaykh is running is from what I can see quite is quite publicly against a substantial number of Saheeh Ahadeeth, not only solitary ones but even those with more chains of transmission, on the premise that they go against the text of the Qur'an. Is this not problematic? [that is, if we consider that the collection and verification of Ahaadeeth was indeed proper, then some answers other than mere dismissal of the work of the Muhaditheen must be provided].

  2. Hadith methodolgy is not a simple matter of accept a sahih hadith. A jurist must know abrogation in hadith and the Quran well and many other sciences that sometimes scholars of hadith do not have. Their are hadiths that were allowed early in Islam and were forbidden later and vice versa.
So its not a simple matter. If you have issues with him then discuss it with him by emailing him if there is no other method.
